Section 1 – What we do with your information
Hanging on Hope uses the information that we collect in order to operate and maintain our website and/or any other services provided to you. Hanging on Hope also uses your information in order to send you marketing communications, respond to your questions and concerns, and help our partners to improve their online offerings.
Purchasing: When you buy something from our store, we collect the personal information you give us (e.g. your name, address and email address).
Browsing: We may automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address to optimize how you view our site. Your IP address helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates. We never share your email.
Third-parties: We occasionally use other companies to perform services necessary to our operations. However, we will not be liable for any damages that may result from the misuse of your personal information by these companies.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information, you are consenting to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. For example, when you subscribe to a Monthly Subscription, you consent to have your account charged on a monthly basis, until directed otherwise in writing.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say opt out.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone who we know to be under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 18, you should use this website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian and should not submit any personal information to us. If we discover that a person under the age of 13 has provided us with any personal information, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete such person’s personal information from all Hanging on Hope systems.
Your Rights: Access, Correction, Deletion
We retain the personal data that you provide to us when you registered with the Hanging on Hope website or any other information that you volunteered while using the website for as long as your account is active or for a limited period of time as long as we need to fulfill the purposes for which we have initially collected it, unless otherwise required by law. We retain any information provided as described in the Uses of Information below.
You have the right to request access to the information that Hanging on Hope has on you. You can do this by contacting us at hello@hangingonhope.com. In order to comply with your request, we may have to verify your identity. If you believe that the information that we have about you is incorrect, you are able to contact us at hello@hangingonhope.com with the change request. Any data that is no longer needed for the purposes specified below will be deleted. You have the right to request the deletion of any personal data that we have on you. If you wish to do so, please contact us at hello@hangingonhope.com. Note that Hanging on Hope may not be able to delete any depersonalized data on you.
How do I withdraw my consent?
If after you opt-in you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact or bill you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at hello@hangingonhope.com.
Section 3 – Disclosure
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
Payment
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Stripe stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

Section 4 – Third-Party Services
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies. We recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand how they will handle your personal information. Certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in different states or countries than yours or ours. So using a third-party service provider for a transaction may make your personal information subject to the laws native to that service provider or facility’s location.

We do our best to make sure your personal information is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
Although no online transaction is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards for security.

Our site uses cookies to improve the way it works, improve its performance, and deliver relevant online advertising, including via social media.
